Ans. Yes, 1440 rpm
Q. Is it Possible to supply machine with single phase
motor?
Ans. Yes, at extra cost.
Q. It there any protection to the motor?
Ans. Yes, DOL starters if fitted for the same. It prevents
even single phasing. Care should be taken to set current in the
relay as per requirement.
Q. Is RPM of motor constant or it can be varied ?
Ans. RPM of motor is constant
Q. What make of motor is used ?
Ans. Motor from manufacture harming CE marker.
Q. Is the force mechanical or pneumatic ?
Ans. Force is pneumatic using compressed air.
Q. Do we need a compressor to run the machine ?
Ans. Yes
Q. What size of compressor is required ?
Ans. Depends on the sizes of the machine & no. of Strokes /
Minute. (Ref. Air consumption chart. ) As a thumb Rule 005 - 1 HP
Compressor, 008 -2 HP Compressor, 012- 3 HP Compressor.
Q. Is compressor supplied with machine?
Ans. No, but can be supplied at extra cost.
Q. What make of pneumatic cylinder is used ?
Ans. Pneumatic cylinder is manufactured by us.
Q. Are the components liable to be corroded ?
Ans. The critical parts that come in contact with air are hard
chrome plated.
Q. Can any standard make cylinder be fitted on the
machine?
Ans. No, because provision for rotation for spinning action
while riveting, is inbuilt in the cylinder which is not possible
with any standard make.
Q. What make of pneumatic is fitted on the machine?
Ans. Local reputed supplier from Bombay. If required any other
make can be fitted at extra cost
Q. Is the PCB inside the control panel made in house?
Ans. Yes
Q. What about repair?
Ans. Replacement sent to customer in case of complaint. No
repairing of PCB card possible at customer's end. Suggest customer
to keep a spare PCB Card.
Q. Is availability of bearings handy?
Ans. Yes, even otherwise we stock the requisite bearings.
Q. What about 'O' rings & cup seals. Are they
available in the market or need to be purchased from manufacture?
Ans. These are proprietary items of manufacturer and need to be
procured from us only.
Q. How often these need to be replaced?
Ans. If lubricator in FRL Unit works satisfactory these may
need to be replaced once in 3-4 years of running of the machine
Q. How often the oil needs to be replaced
Ans. The lubricator should be set such that a drop of oil goes
for every 10-12 strokes of the machine. Refilling of oil required
once a week. However water in air collected in the filter should be
drained regularly.
Q. What is the availability of connectors & braided
hose pipe used : Are they non-standard?
Ans. These are standard items available in any local market.
Q. What is the weight of the machine?
Ans. Net Weight - 005-70 Kg, 008-150 kg, & 012-300 Kg
Q. Can the machine be used as a press?
Ans. Yes, but we do not recommend
Q. Is the tool angle changeable?
Ans. No, it is fixed. However tool with different angle (say 3
Deg. ) can be made available
Q. Why does the tool have and angle?
Ans. Refer technical details in the manual.
Q. What is the material of the tool?
Ans. Material of the tool normally used is WPS (HC HCr).
However tools out of HSS material, hot die steel and carbide tips
can be made on request.
Q. Can we regrind the tools if worn out ?
Ans. No, because tool length is very critical and contributes
towards neat riveting in a big way.
Q. What is the life of the tool?
Ans. If the UST of material riveted is 38 Kg/ mm x mm about
1,0000 Operations.
